Mission Statement:
Our team strives to learn, develop skills, and explore topics related to Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). Our goals are to design, build, test, and complete a successful FIRST Robot. In our eyes, success will be measured by the new skills we acquire during this project, the amount of fun we have as a group and the strength of our bonds when working as a team. Team members will be encouraged to take risks and experiment with new ideas, technologies, and techniques.
Our Team Goals for the 2022 Season
After a successful rookie year in 2020, our team had to shut-down due to the cancellation of extra-curricular school activities in response to the K-12 Covid-19 Health & Safety Guidelines. We are in the process of rebuilding our team this year with an entirely new group of students so we are essentially starting from scratch. This year, we aim to establish ourselves as a team with integrity and gracious professionalism so that we can serve our community with pride. We intend on seeking out a variety of opportunities to share our learning and love of STEM with the community and across the province though our numerous outreach initiatives and our social media platforms.
